At AKQA, our Delivery Discipline sets the standard for project governance and execution, ensuring clients maximise return on investment through efficient, high quality delivery. For this role, focused on ongoing BAU CRM campaigns, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising email, push, and SMS activity, while also coordinating initiatives to enhance our CRM and Martech capabilities.
 
As a Project Manager, you will partner with clients to deliver campaigns that are timely, accurate, and strategically aligned, while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and financial performance. Adept at stakeholder management, you will liaise across marketing, creative, data, and technology teams, as well as external partners, to ensure seamless delivery and measurable results.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Lead delivery of digital projects and CRM campaigns (email, push, SMS), managing time, budget, and quality.
  • Maintain core project documentation: scopes, estimates, timelines, risks, status reports, and briefs.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Act as central contact across clients, vendors, external partners, and internal teams; marketing, creative, production, data, and technology.
  • Drive progress through clear communication, milestone tracking, and workflow facilitation.
  • Escalate risks proactively, keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Own Statements of Work and project plans, delivering medium-complexity projects end-to-end.
  • Manage project financials and report on commercial health.
  • Communicate and manage changes to time, cost, and scope transparently.
  • Understand client business and objectives, ensuring CRM initiatives support outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Martech and Analytics to optimise processes, automation, personalisation, and reporting.
  • Build client relationships, provide strategic input, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain high-quality data for reporting and PMO governance.
