The Role:

We have an opportunity at the junior level with demonstrated Defence Project Support skills to join our team in Sydney at a full-time permanent capacity. This role sits within our Maritime Capability segment and will see you supporting the team to deliver specialist services to our clients in engagements that develop Capability for Navy. More specifically you will:

  • Be responsible for the administration and coordination of activities within an exciting Defence Program
  • Support Program leaders and stakeholders with event coordination and artefact development and review
  • Preparing and developing reports and presentations
  • Build productive and sustainable working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are a fast-paced organisation seeking someone who is innovative, energised and motivated to work in a highly collaborative team. You have a solid understanding of project support skills and attributes and are experienced working within the Defence industry. You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.

Required skills and attributes include:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service attributes
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to take responsibility for your own work.
  • Experience in and an understanding of the Defence Maritime environment
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to deliver high-quality written products
  • An active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or higher)

Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory):

  • A Systems Engineering background or relative equivalent.
  • Experience working within Navy
