About the Role
The Manager Project Support has the responsibility to provide supervision and line management of the Project Support staff as assigned. The Manager Project Support may also act as Project Support Specialist according to the job descriptions.
Responsibilities
- Act as line manager for one or more assigned Project Support Specialists; serve as a designated mentor to assigned project support staff.
- Ensure induction process is completed as per company policy for all line reports on commencement of employment with the organization.
- Meet regularly (in probation weekly, moving to a minimum of monthly) with line reports to review their workload, welfare and developmental needs. Assist management team in resource management and recruitment, participate in interviews for potential new hires
- Participate in activities of the Project Management department, including presentation at team meetings and, attendance at company meetings and contributing to the development of processes and SOPs
Experience and Qualifications
- Graduate in a Clinical or Life Sciences business administration, management, or related field with ideally 4 years of experience in clinical research.
- Previous mentoring or staff supervision experience in CRO or Pharmaceutical industry would be highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal skills together with strong verbal and written language skills.
- Effective leadership and organization skills as well as the ability to work proactively with a range of stakeholders.
Salary Band – Manager Project Support: $110,000 to $145,000 USD – Salary offered will be based on candidates experience level.
