An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and ambitious Tender and Proposal Writer / coordinator to join Altus Group. This is a unique opportunity within a large professional consultancy firm that services the Property and Commercial RE sector.

Reporting to the New Business Operations Manager, the Proposal Writer is passionate about supporting the development of high-quality proposals and tenders in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other business opportunities. The Proposal Writer will collaborate with cost and project managers to gather content, ensure compliance with client requirements, and deliver documents that align with the organisation’s goals and branding covering the APAC region.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse RFPs, RFTs, and other solicitation documents to determine response requirements and strategy
  • Write, edit, and format proposal content using the input obtained from all sources in a concise, responsive, logical fashion, while ensuring the information provided complies with the specifications.
  • Ensure proposals are compliant, well-organised, and submitted on time.
  • Finalise, proofread and edit all responses 
  • Carry out administration duties maintaining and updating a content library of standard proposal responses, resumes, case studies and capability statements.
  • Assist in ensuring consistency of format and visual style across each submission.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Add to and edit Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, status, and follow-ups.
  • Continual system and process improvement including project creation and admin support as and when required

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in proposal  writing, tender coordination, marketing or similar
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and PowerPoint); experience with Canva or other publishing tools is a plus
  • Time management and organisational skills, including proven experience of working within a deadline driven environment. Ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience using Salesforce (preferred but not essential)
  • A team player who is flexible in accommodating others needs while being proactive and able to use their own initiative
