Public Relations Manager (Maternity Leave Contract – Initial 6 Months)

We are seeking an experienced PR Manager to join our ANZ team on an initial 6-month maternity leave contract based in our Sydney Support Office.

Reporting to the Communications Director, ANZ, you will lead public relations, influencer engagement, and brand activation initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive earned media opportunities, manage talent and influencer partnerships, deliver exceptional events, and support the local execution of global campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the ANZ public relations strategy and secure earned media coverage across print, digital, social, and broadcast channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, talent, and industry partners.
  • Develop and manage influencer and talent engagement programs, including product seeding and event participation.
  • Plan and deliver brand activations, media events, and press experiences.
  • Partner with Marketing, E-commerce, Retail, and Merchandising teams to amplify key campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance, industry trends, and competitor activity.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in public relations, communications, or influencer marketing.
  • Strong media and influencer network with proven relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience reporting on campaign performance.
  • Experience within luxury, fashion, beauty, retail, or lifestyle brands is highly regarded.
