WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role is an exciting opportunity for a QA Lead passionate about ensuring we meet benchmarks in the speed, accuracy, and overall quality of our client’s digital marketing output. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Front-End HTML code for web pages and email meets the highest standards, directly contributing to the success of global brands. Excited to collaborate within a dynamic team, you'll engage with clients, agency development partners, and our offshore QA team, while also conducting hands-on testing in market. This fast-paced environment offers opportunities for professional development and exposure to innovative industry practices, and will involve working from client offices when required.
As a QA Lead, you will own the Quality Control process, ensuring all errors are identified and resolved before launch. You will be responsible for examining and testing digital output against defined criteria, ensuring adherence to standards and on-time delivery. Your role involves being a key contact between clients and agency development partners, managing tickets and bugs through QA tools, writing test plans, and actively participating in issue resolution. You will also contribute to process improvement, carry out configuration management tasks, and manage and train new team members, all while upholding Hogarth's commitment to excellence.
This role would suit a technically proficient and meticulous problem-solver, comfortable thriving in an agile, fast-paced production environment. Someone keen to participate in discussions and initiatives related to new technologies, workflows, and creative approaches in QA, contributing ideas and supporting proof-of-concept projects where applicable. Please note – this role will involve regular travel to client offices, sometimes for several weeks at a time, and requires flexibility with working hours.
ABOUT YOU
- You have demonstrable experience as a QA Lead or QA Engineer, with a strong background in large-scale QA environments and website testing.
- You possess an expert understanding of both manual and automated testing tools, including device management, test script creation, and reporting.
- You are proficient in Front-End Web Page testing, covering creative compliance, content QA, media assets, cross-browser compatibility, localization, usability, accessibility, and device responsiveness. Y
- You have knowledge of Defect Management tools (e.g., JIRA, Mercury/Rational tools), intermediate SQL, and basic Unix/Linux commands for navigating terminals and executing scripts.
- You are familiar with email client testing across major desktop and web clients (e.g., Outlook, Mail, Gmail, Office365, Yahoo!).
- You have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality matched by an obsession with detail.
- You’re a proactive and strong communicator, with interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration within a team, with clients, and agency partners, taking direction, and adapting to evolving technical requirements.
- You have a hungry interest and curiosity for emerging technologies and their application in digital quality assurance, including automation and new testing methodologies.
