As Sales Consultants in the Qantas Agency Connect (QAC) team, you will provide expert advice and solutions on Qantas products, policies, fares and ticketing to our Agency Partners. This role plays an integral part in our service delivery and enables our agency partners to sell Qantas with confidence, placing customers at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent product, policy, fares & ticketing advice and sales support to our agency partners.
  • Process all queries and requests with accuracy, utilising all available information and resources.
  • Advise our customers on all aspects and benefits of our products and services.
  • Anticipate the needs of our customers and offer innovative solutions.
  • Encourage and promote agent self-service via the Qantas Agency Connect site.
  • Approach every call with a "can do" attitude, be flexible in approach and adjust delivery accordingly to agent’s knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments as required to obtain the best outcome for Qantas and the customer.

You’ll have:

  • A strong Customer Service or Sales background.
  • Sound working knowledge of Reservation systems, and knowledge of Travel Sales; extensive Travel Agency/Airline experience preferred.
  • Domestic and International consulting experience, with knowledge of airline products, policy, fares and ticketing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • The ability to Identify sales opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Recent experience in a contact centre environment with the ability to meet call related KPI’s will be highly regarded.
