Position Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on and proactive Quality & Lean Manager – Operations to lead quality improvement and Lean initiatives at our Rydalmere site. In this newly created role, you’ll work closely with fabrication and warehouse teams to ensure our made-to-order window covering products consistently meet high standards. You'll drive root cause analysis, embed Lean practices on the shop floor, and coach teams in problem solving and continuous improvement. This is a key leadership role focused on building sustainable quality processes and enhancing overall operational performance.

What you'll do

  • Lead and maintain quality control programs across fabrication and warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to internal standards and customer expectations
  • Analyse quality data, customer feedback, and production reports to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Implement and champion Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement
  • Coach and upskill teams in problem solving, visual management, root cause analysis, and performance gap resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues and ensure accurate procurement specifications
  • Oversee the non-conformance and dispensation processes, including documentation, investigation, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate calibration schedules for equipment and maintain quality assurance records and compliance documentation
  • Monitor delivery performance metrics and lead initiatives to improve order fulfilment accuracy and timeliness
