About the role

12 month fixed term opportunity.

Bluecurrent (formerly Vector Metering) is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our enthusiastic and supportive metering operations team. In this role you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance of our field technicians, ensuring adherence to relevant safety, quality and retailer contractual standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process and close work orders in line with relevant Retailer, Market and SLA's/KPI's.
  • Validate meter installation photos to ensure that installation standards are met.
  • Manage queries from FSP's and Retailers regarding service requests.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain data integrity of systems, resolve and correct discrepancies as required.
  • Perform routine data analysis and reporting to identify HSW or QA related issues.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.
  • Work closely with QA Coordinators to support team training and development.

To be successful in this role you will be an enthusiastic team player with previous customer service experience. You’ll be adept at communicating effectively with both internal and external customers, and will also bring the following:

  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
  • Knowledge of the Australian regulatory requirements
  • Able to support the implementation of process improvements projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external parties and be able to build constructive and effective relationships
  • Communicate with clarity and effectively across all levels
  • Strong collaborative working and influencing skills
