Quality Engineer (Typescript)

We are looking for a QA Engineer (mid level) to play a role across both our product and services team. A lot of the ground work has been done but would like someone who wants to work with and along side our Senior QA and various technical teams. Consulting and guiding the various areas of the business for all things QA. This will be a mix of automation and manual testing. Working on our SaaS products and with our services teams on our implementations (website/intranets/portals etc).

We’re location-flexible! This role is open to all candidates on the east coast of Australia.

What would be nice to have:

• Experience with both Automated and manual testing (a desire to do a mix of both is a must)
• Experience with Javascript/TypeScript (must have)
• Experience in both frontend and backend testing - as many of the following API, contract, performance testing
• Experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Pact, Playwright and BrowserStack (Desirable)
• Experience with integration of automated testing into CI/CD setup (Desirable)
• Willingness to bring your experience and ideas to the team and collaborate on the best outcome
• A self-motivated individual who communicates and articulates well

What you would do:

• Liaise with the product and services teams to ensure quality is considered early and throughout the development life-cycle
• Work with engineering teams to ensure good quality tests are being written and help them to understand what good looks looks like when it comes to quality
• Commit to self learning and grow with the company
