Your future role within QRT

  • Work closely with traders and researchers to deploy quantitative tools for the energy desk
  • Grow in a fast paced and challenging environment, interacting directly with Traders and Quant Researchers
  • Handle full lifecycle (architecture, development, deployment, maintenance) of cloud-native solutions exploring alternative datasets, risk reports, PnL, ML/statistical modelling
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to leverage QRT systems to optimize/extend current workflow
  • Take ownership of existing tools / infrastructure to help scale with QRT growth

Your present skillset

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience writing industrialized, mission-critical Python code
  • Experience with the following is a plus
    • Any strongly typed programming language is a plus (C#, C++)
    • Dashboarding (Dash, Tableau, etc)
    • Cloud platforms (AWS) experience is a plus
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a global team
  • Designing clean and maintainable software architecture
  • Any experience in finance (buy or sell side) would be beneficial ; good knowledge of power markets would be ideal
  • Rigorous and analytical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills is a must
