This role will provide high quality support and intervention to workers and employers who have lodged psychological injury claims caused by conflict. This role will work closely with the case manager for the first 14 weeks of the claim; supporting the worker and employer to resolve workplace conflict, access suitable treatment and facilitate sustainable return to work outcomes.  

 

This will be a full-time 12-month contract position based in the Sydney or Parramatta office, with flexibility to work from home. 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Resolve workplace conflict that has resulted in psychological injury claims by using your mediation and communication skills with the relevant stakeholders 
  • Facilitate early access to treatment and other required services to support the workers timely recovery and return to work 
  • Work collaboratively with treating doctors, treatment providers, workers and employers to develop and action early intervention plans to achieve key objectives 
  • Work effectively with Case Managers, Team Leaders and internal stakeholders to support claims management 
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders face to face and through video conferencing and phone. 

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Experience, training or qualifications in mediation or facilitated workplace discussions. 
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflict by taking informed action based on information gathered from various stakeholders. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a range of mediums. 
  • Ability to build productive relationships and meet stakeholder needs.
