​Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Infrastructure & Operations, the Regional Head of IT Cloud and Hosting Services will lead and be accountable for the strategic delivery, management, and continuous improvement of Cloud and Hosting services across the EU and Rest of World (ROW) regions. This role ensures alignment with global IT strategy while addressing local and global business needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to manage and inspire a team across multiple locations. Set clear goals, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's overall objectives. Conduct market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and create actionable plans to achieve regional targets.
  • Regional Oversight: Oversee operations across the region, ensuring consistency and efficiency in processes. Monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. Demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate and improve the performance of the regional team. Set performance standards, conduct regular reviews, and implement training and development program.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the region. Identify areas for improvement, implement new technologies, and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and analyze regional performance. Present findings to senior management and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring that the regional team delivers exceptional service and meets customer needs.

Skills and Experienceand experiences required

Cloud Platforms & Architecture

  • Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments—covering compute, storage, networking, and edge/CDN architectures .
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Pulumi), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Skilled in designing secure, resilient, and high-performance hybrid cloud and edge infrastructures tailored to distributed workloads.

Cloud Networking & Connectivity

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking constructs: VPC/VNet architecture, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, private links, load balancing, and BGP peering for cross-region and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experienced in performance tuning, latency optimization, high availability design, and traffic routing strategies for critical application environments.

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Expertise in cloud security, including IAM, Key Vaults, security groups, and firewall strategies; strong grounding in compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC‑2, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Proven ability to embed zero-trust architectures, implement enterprise-grade monitoring, and enforce secure access across global environments.

Operations & Reliability

  • Leadership in building SRE/CloudOps practices, defining SLOs/SLIs, incident response, root cause analysis, and resiliency engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in monitoring and logging platforms (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK, GCP Operations Suite) enabling proactive operations.

Cost Optimization & FinOps

  • Deep experience implementing cost governance frameworks, including reserved instances, spot pricing, autoscaling, and FinOps principles to deliver visibility, accountability, and optimized cloud expenditure.

Transformation & Program Leadership

  • Demonstrated track record driving cloud transformation programs, datacenter consolidations, and large-scale migrations across EU and ROW regions.
  • Strategic leader with experience translating global IT cloud strategies into regionally adaptive roadmaps, integrating change management and stakeholder alignment.

Technical Leadership & Team Development

  • Hands-on experience managing, mentoring, and leading regional/matrixed/multi-national teams of DevOps, CloudOps, Infrastructure, and SRE engineers.
  • Strong ability to build high-performance teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and bridge technical innovation with operational excellence.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Valued industry certifications: AWS/GCP/Azure Solution Architect, Terraform, CISSP, CCNA, CNCF, or equivalent cloud and security credentials  
  • Skilled in ITIL-based service management, DevOps, Lean IT, and agile delivery methodologies; familiarity with SRE frameworks.

Location: UK

This role will be based in our Belron Group office in Egham, UK with the occasional travel to regional technology centers/hubs as well as. Overnight stays may be necessary from time to time as needed.

This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work flexibly to meet the needs of the individual and the business.
