Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

We’re looking for a Regional Manager to lead and shape our state-based photography operations within Australia. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Visual Media Manager to oversee the daily execution of our photography service, uphold quality standards and manage strategic scheduling of our photography services. By mentoring a dedicated team of photographers and collaborating with senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure operational excellence, deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain brand integrity and drive the continued growth of the carsales.com.au brand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating multiple state-based visual manager teams through effective scheduling, problem‑solving and clear stakeholder communication to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
  • Driving revenue growth nationally by translating commercial ideas into action, partnering with dealers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring a strong, market‑leading visual product.
  • Planning and optimising weekly operations, balancing team schedules, resources and priorities to meet business needs while maintaining service quality and efficiency.
  • Developing and mentoring your team, fostering curiosity, collaboration and technical excellence while sharing knowledge and building capability.
  • Contributing to organisational goals by continuously improving processes, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional experience for dealers and third‑party clients.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong technical expertise in photography and video.
  • Proven problem‑solving capability, delivering flexible and efficient weekly rosters.
  • The ability to regularly engage with State Managers, Digital Account Managers and Outbound Account Managers to support growth of Visual Media products.
  • A commitment to building and strengthening team culture.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance our product and drive process efficiencies.
  • The capability to build on the Redbook partnership and identify improvements to the Image Library.

We know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If you’re excited about the role and believe you can make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
