We’re seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead and support our stores across the Sydney metro and southern Sydney.

This region offers an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys building strong community connections while delivering consistent, high quality outcomes across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be Sydney based and comfortable with regular travel to stores within the region.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager of Store Operations, this role plays a key part in shaping performance, culture and capability across New South Wales.

As Regional Manager, you’ll provide clear direction and support to align priorities across the region, contribute strategically to the division’s vision and broader business agenda, and ensure operational excellence is delivered every day. You’ll lead, coach and empower a team of Site Managers, creating a positive, inclusive and high performing environment that supports growth and development.

This is a strategic and hands on leadership role, well suited to someone who values collaboration, builds strong relationships, leads through change with confidence, and delivers outstanding customer, safety and commercial outcomes.

  • Leading, supporting and developing Site Managers to deliver strong operational and customer outcomes
  • Aligning priorities and ways of working to ensure consistency across the region
  • Influencing and delivering divisional and business priorities with clarity and purpose

  • Driving store performance through thoughtful planning, commercial insight and effective execution
  • Leading and embedding change, programs and operational initiatives
  • Strengthening operational consistency, efficiency and brand standards across all locations
  • Identifying and nurturing talent, supporting career pathways and building strong succession plans
  • Assisting to grow our commercial (trade) part of Bunnings

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience (5–10 years) leading multi‑site retail teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to positively influence outcomes
  • A strategic mindset, balanced with a willingness to be present and hands‑on when needed
  • A coaching‑led leadership style with strong communication skills
  • A collaborative, inclusive approach and the ability to partner effectively across the business
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to leading change and improving performance
  • You have the proven ability to drive performance with a strong track record of achieving results
  • Proven track record of delivery strong safety outcomes and driving safe work behaviours
