Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager with proven hospitality experience to lead and deliver multi-channel marketing activity across a portfolio of three regional properties in the Hunter Valley and the Snowy Mountains.

These properties encompass hotel accommodation, meetings & events, multiple food & beverage outlets, golf, leisure, and wellness spa facilities. This role offers the opportunity to shape the local marketing strategy, drive revenue, and enhance brand awareness in your regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all B2B and B2C local area marketing activity, including marketing, PR, social media, advertising, traditional on-property collateral, and multi-channel brand campaigns and promotions.
  • Own, develop, and implement local marketing plans for each resort in your portfolio to drive sessions, monthly revenue targets, and ROI.
  • Raise the awareness and reputation of each property and the overall brand locally.
  • Lead all local area marketing activity, including B2B and B2C PR, social media, advertising, traditional on-property collateral, and multi-channel brand campaigns.
  • Develop engaging content and assets aligned with brand standards for use across digital and traditional channels.
  • Identify, engage, and leverage external brand and partnership opportunities.
  • Deliver multi-channel promotional and seasonal campaigns across owned, earned, and bought media.
  • Collaborate with property and internal stakeholders including revenue, brand, digital, and design teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities.
  • Report on marketing activities, initiatives, and campaign results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel regularly to properties (weekly or fortnightly) to ensure campaign execution and alignment with local market needs.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager / Local Area Marketing Manager role.
  • Hospitality industry experience is essential – hotels, conferencing & event venues, F&B, or wellness environments preferred.
  • Strong marketing skills across all channels, including copywriting, campaign development, creative development, and reporting.
  • Experience working within a matrixed marketing team to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver successful marketing campaigns that achieve strategic goals, ROI, and revenue targets.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to local area marketing with excellent project management and organiational skills.
  • Familiarity with current social media platforms and evolving marketing trends.
  • Ability to analyze campaigns and provide actionable recommendations based on data trends.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Highly creative, process-driven, and comfortable challenging the status quo to achieve superior results.
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and driven professional with a positive attitude and capacity for sustained effort in a dynamic environment.
