Job Description

Minor Hotels are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager – NSW to drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure revenue across our NSW portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Field Sales, this role plays a critical part in executing group sales strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and long-term account growth.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering results across a diverse portfolio of properties.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure sales across NSW properties
  • Grow existing accounts while actively developing new business 
  • Implement group sales strategies to maximise room and events revenue
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and forward occupancy
  • Manage and maintain key client relationships through face-to-face and virtual engagement
  • Work closely with Hotel Managers, Revenue and Commercial teams
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and networking forums
  • Ensure accurate reporting, data integrity and CRM management

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role within hospitality or tourism
  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue and building strong client portfolios
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management and planning capability
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider sales team
  • Strong commercial acumen and passion for delivering exceptional service
