Position
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to support and grow our channel business across Australia and New Zealand.
What We Offer
This is a development-focused role suited to someone who is eager to learn, build relationships, and grow into a high-performing sales professional. The role is primarily telesales-driven, with a strong focus on enabling and supporting channel partners.
You will work closely with partners to build confidence in our solutions, strengthen relationships, and help drive opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Build and develop strong relationships with channel partners across Australia and New Zealand
- Engage partners regularly via phone and virtual meetings to drive activity and pipeline
- Support partners in identifying and progressing new business opportunities
- Help partners understand and confidently position Opengear solutions
- Act as a key point of contact for partner communication and day-to-day support
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to support technical discussions and customer opportunities
- Maintain and update pipeline, partner activity, and account information in CRM
- Identify new potential partners and support onboarding and relationship development
- Contribute to partner engagement initiatives, campaigns, and follow-ups
- Travel occasionally to strengthen new and existing partner relationships
Who You Are and What You Bring
- Early experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred)
- Strong communication skills and confidence in phone-based engagement
- A proactive, “hungry” mindset with a desire to learn and grow in sales
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple activities
- A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders
Desired but Not Required
- Exposure to channel sales or partner-driven environments
- Interest in technology, networking, or IT infrastructure
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
