This Relationship Executive position is a key role within the RAB business. The RAB teams serve over 12,000 Business Banking customers across regional Australia from metropolitan centres like Canberra, Geelong, Wollongong and Newcastle, to regional centres, remote rural communities and key tourist hubs., and our business offering is key to supporting a diverse range of businesses across Australia. The vision of the RAB team is to build a brighter future for regional Australia. through long lasting proactive engagement with our customers.

The Relationship Executive will have real passion for international relations as well as building strong relationships within Canberra’s diplomatic community. Excitement for client facing relationship management and strong proficiency managing diverse clients with risk at the forefront of your engagement will be a key to being successful in this role.

More specifically, you will:
- Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through expertise in managing sensitive customer information.
- Gain an in depth understanding of client needs to improve their banking experience.
- Work closely with the Bank’s Financial Crime and Compliance to develop and implement procedures to limit and mitigate the risks associated with transacting internationally.
- Continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CBA across ACT.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Experience successfully building and leading complex customer portfolios with a passion for building long term customer relationships
- An Analytical and Inquisitive mindset
- A tertiary qualification in International Relations/ Law/Finance and/or a relevant discipline would be highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of bank products and financial services products and services.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-terrorism Financial and Sanctions frameworks
- Excellent co-ordination and stakeholder management skills with proven experience to influence senior stakeholders
