Relationship Executive – Wollongong

You’re a natural relationship builder who thrives on growing a client base, spotting opportunity, and making things happen.

This Wollongong‑based opportunity offers the chance to step into a high‑impact role, broaden your experience, and support local businesses as they build strong, sustainable futures — all while working as part of a collaborative, close‑knit team that genuinely values flexibility.

Do Work That Matters

In this role, you’ll take ownership of an existing portfolio of diversified business clients, delivering meaningful, tailored solutions that help them move forward. Backed by CommBank’s innovative products and services, you’ll use your relationship management expertise to deepen partnerships and drive growth across the region.

Alongside managing existing relationships, you’ll focus on new client acquisition, uncovering opportunities across both new and established networks. If you’re passionate about a particular industry, this role gives you the freedom to lean into that expertise and shape your portfolio — making the role truly your own.

You Will:

  • Build trusted, long‑term client relationships through exceptional service
  • Leverage your network and referral partners to generate new‑to‑bank opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex client needs and collaborate with product specialists to deliver end‑to‑end financial solutions
  • Lead deal execution, drawing on strong origination, structuring and negotiation skills
  • Build your profile and presence as a CommBank representative across the Wollongong region

See Yourself in Our Team

Our Business Banking teams support medium to large businesses across Australia, combining deep customer insight with innovative technology and forward‑thinking solutions. We’re energised by our momentum, proud of our impact, and committed to flexible ways of working that balance client outcomes, team connection and life outside work.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Excel at building relationships that drive growth
  • Have a strong track record managing high‑value business client portfolios of $1-10m
  • Bring solid business banking knowledge and commercial acumen to client acquisition
  • Are confident in credit, financial analysis and understanding cash‑flow drivers
  • Take pride in delivering outstanding service while generating new business

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Relationship Manager or Small Business Banker ready to step up, stretch their capability, and gain exposure in a growth‑focused regional market — while making a tangible impact in Wollongong.
