About the Role:
As a key part of Plenti’s Consumer Lending team, the Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of brokers, with emphasis on driving loan volumes, increasing broker engagement, and ensuring an exceptional broker experience.
This role focuses on fostering strong relationships with existing accounts to achieve business growth, whilst working closely with your state Business Development Manager (BDM) to activate new brokers.
Whilst experience in the finance sector is preferred, it is not essential. Success in this role requires a proven track record of delivering results, meeting KPIs, and an enthusiasm for winning business and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining and developing strong relationships with your portfolio of brokers and providing fast, accurate and responsive support
• Effectively manage a sales pipeline of consumer car loans and personal loan applications, with a focus of converting quotes into settled loans
• Focus on activating new and non-transacting brokers
• Deliver on sales activity expectations and accurately record all activity in CRM systems
• Develop tailored and effective sales strategies to achieve loan origination growth and activity targets
• Build strong relationships with your state BDM to provide unrivalled support to your shared portfolio
• Represent Plenti professionally, establishing full confidence and trust among brokers and business partners
Key Qualifications:
• 1+ years' experience in sales or finance account management, preferably in third-party intermediated channels or directly with finance brokers
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Ability to work independently while also integrating effectively into a team
• Some knowledge of financial lending products and/or credit risk underwriting is advantageous
