OVERVIEW
ISS STOXX is looking for a Junior Analyst to join our Corporate Governance Research team. This role is focused on building foundational capability in a high-volume, process-driven environment, where success is defined by reliable execution within structured workflows. You will support the delivery of high-quality proxy research by ensuring the integrity of data collection, coding, and analysis while adhering to established methodologies and timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do
As a Junior Analyst, you'll play an important role in the proxy research process by:
Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining data related to shareholder meetings
Conducting research and coding governance information according to established methodologies
Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across assigned projects
Supporting the preparation and delivery of proxy research reports within established timelines
Applying research frameworks, analytical guidelines, and quality standards to your work
Identifying and escalating issues when information is incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Law, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (advanced degree, MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience is a plus).
Strong analytical, research, and data management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with databases, research platforms, financial analysis, or other data-intensive projects is preferred.
Knowledge of or interest in corporate governance, ESG, capital markets, investment research, and proxy voting.
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines while working both independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
3–5 years of relevant research, analysis, or related experience preferred; exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.
