About the team:
The Resilience & Business Continuity Lead is responsible for improving S&P ecosystems resilience posture. This role ensures that critical services and processes are managed for high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with license obligations, regulatory standards and relevant best practices.
The ASX Securities and Payments (S&P) Resilience Team is committed to strengthening the business, operational, and technological resilience across all S&P business units, with a strategic focus on Austraclear and CHESS. Our mission is to proactively uplift resilience capabilities, enable rapid recovery from disruptions, and ensure the continuity of critical business services in alignment with license obligations, regulatory expectations and enterprise standards.
What you will be doing:
Resilience Posture: strengthen S&P’s operational resilience posture by contributing to the development and execution of the resilience strategy, roadmap, governance structures, and operating model.
Obligations & Standards: ensure resilience initiatives are aligned with ASX license obligations, regulatory standards (e.g., CPS 230, ISO 22301), and internal risk and compliance frameworks, with clear traceability and audit readiness.
Resilience by Design: implement resiliency in ASX critical ecosystems (CHESS and Austraclear) and delivery lifecycles.
Continuity & Testing: support and enhance business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities, including fire drill coordination with ASX enterprise teams, third parties, market participants and regulators.
Resilience Delivery: drive the delivery of resilience initiatives into business unit roadmaps. Support incident reviews and capability uplift.
Recovery Capabilities: collaborate with business, ops and technical teams to map critical dependencies and failure scenarios. identify alerting, monitoring, and detection requirements.
What you will bring:
Must have
Proven experience in business continuity.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CPS 230 and ISO 22301 and best practices
Experience with resilience testing methodologies and tools.
Experience in 3rd party management.
Experience in designing and implementing resilience dashboards and metrics
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Nice to have
Experience in financial services or market infrastructure environments.
Experience in data and analytics
Understanding of cloud, cyber, infrastructure, and application architecture.
Change management experience in resilience program adoption.
