Advance your career with this exciting opportunity as a Resource Industries Account Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Archerfield Head Office. 

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and leading commercial negotiations to support the sale and delivery of new equipment to our Resource Industries client base. 

 
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to: 

  • Drive sales management process to deliver quality customer proposals, timely execution of supply contract deliverables and compliance to internal sales processes. 

  • Achieve targeted business results (Industry Sales Targets, Payment Terms, Gross Margin, Sales Revenue, Issue Management and Customer Satisfaction) for area of responsibility against budget. 

  • Uphold a continuous improvement mindset with the team to enhance customer relations and business solution delivery. 

  • Manage and develop key strategic business relationships leveraging Cat and HDAL resources to support customer initiatives and deliver value add solutions. 

  • Identify sales opportunities and lead negotiations delivering sales forecasts and deal closure. 

  • Engage with professionalism, integrity and care to achieve and maintain trusted business relationships. 

 
About You 
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role: 

  • Experience in a management or customer support role within construction industries, resource industries , mining services or heavy earthmoving industries. 

  • Experience in dealer service and support,  with a knowledge of CAT services, parts, and equipment. 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Engineering or equivalent work experience would be seen as preferred. 

  • Proven ability to drive sales opportunity capture and sales management process to deliver quality customer proposals, timely execution of supply contract deliverables and compliance to internal sales processes. 

  • Track record of achieving targeted business results for your area of responsibility against budget.
