We’re a remote-first team of problem solvers who build and ship at a high velocity. We’re customer obsessed and leave our egos at the door. If this sounds fun, join us!

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be an integral component of our dynamic Sales organization, acting as a sales advisor for our PayFac and ISV partners and our direct customers. Your primary mission will be to assist our partners' merchants and our direct customers in onboarding, qualifying, and activating their Pipe offers. This role will see you managing the entire sales cycle from the initial engagement to the deal closure.

Please note that this role is based in Sydney and requires you to be in the office three days a week, subject to change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the founding sales representative in Australia for a global fintech company.
  • Engage with partners’ merchants and our direct customers, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our Pipe offerings can meet their business objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing
  • Serve as a dedicated advisor, providing expertise and guidance to ensure a seamless onboarding and activation experience
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success and Customer Service teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey and sustained satisfaction
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape our offerings based on market needs and customer feedback
Qualifications
  • Please note that this role is based in our Sydney office and currently requires in-office presence three days per week (subject to change).
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally within a fintech, credit, SaaS, or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and dynamics, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building trust and advising customers
  • A self-starter mentality with the drive to initiate and manage projects independently
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and sales management tools
Compensation and Benefits

We believe in taking care of our employees. We want you to feel like an owner and that will be reflected in your salary, equity, and benefits. You’ll receive:

  • The best equipment to help you do your job: computers, monitors, desks, chairs, headphones, speakers, webcams, keyboards, mice, etc.
  • Flexible vacation and work hours. We believe in a healthy work-life balance (really!)
  • Competitive salary and growth opportunity. Your role and compensation evolve with your impact - we grow together.
  • Excellent health, dental, vision insurance, and superannuation contributions.
  • Generous parental leave for anyone who is growing their family, regardless of gender.
  • Great colleagues! We value a culture of authenticity, humility and excellence. We want you to make a mark on our culture.

We are working to build amazing products, and an amazing place to work too. Come join us!
