The opportunity

Your new role
As a Risk Engineering Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the core operational performance of the team. Key responsibilities include allocation of risk surveys to internal and supplier risk engineers, in addition to ensuring supplier agreement performance standards are upheld, reviewing supplier travel quotes and invoicing, and responding to supplier and customer queries related to surveys and associated risk improvements. This role requires the building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements, and actively participating in system delivery and process improvement initiatives.
You will:
- Establish and implement performance standards for allocating risk surveys, ensuring effective allocation to risk engineers and suppliers.
- Maintain established survey delivery targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and convey feedback on Supplier risk report quality and compliance to survey delivery targets during planned periodic Supplier meetings.
- Contribute to supplier onboarding including contributing to service agreements and ensure compliance throughout their term.
- Support management of Customer Solutions Panel providers, including Service Level Agreements and onboarding
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Product, Distribution, and Underwriting.
About you
You’re an organised, service-oriented coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring a practical understanding of insurance operations and enjoy balancing workflow priorities with stakeholder expectations. You’re confident working across multiple teams, comfortable coaching others, and motivated by improving processes and lifting performance.
You will also have:
- Relevant experience in a coordination, administration, operations or workflow‑based role, supporting day‑to‑day service delivery and prioritisation.
- Moderate experience within the insurance industry, with exposure to operations, sales, underwriting and/or claims environments preferred.
- Reasonable working knowledge of underwriting systems and processes, including end‑to‑end processing workflows.
- Good understanding of company IT systems and operational processes, with the ability to navigate systems efficiently and accurately.
