Join us in shaping our future–and yours.What You Will Do The SaaS Sr. Analyst is responsible for end-to-end Technology Assets Accounting finance operations & controllership role for assigned regions which includes creation of Internal orders, maintenance of asset registers, accounting for capitalization & amortization, reconciliations, consolidation & segment reporting deliverables, interacting cross functionally with Tech business partner & FP&A to execute the applicable SOX controls and support audit & external reporting deliverables:Key Responsibilities
- Lead all finance operations activities for assigned regions related to Technology Assets accounting, ensuring accurate capitalization and recognition of expenses related to SaaS contracts and compliance with company policy, relevant regulatory requirements for the regions and relevant accounting standards. This includes capital spend tracking and amortization schedule maintenance.
- Analyze the financial implications of changes to SaaS contracts, providing insights on accounting treatment and financial impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data related to SaaS transactions.
- Maintain documentation for SaaS accounting processes, including policies & procedures.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to Technology Assets accounting.
- Monitor and analyze Technology Assets-related financial metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Deep dive the existing Technology Assets process and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Assist during audits by ensuring necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors.
- Reviewing, coaching, and mentoring the work performed by SaaS Accounting Analysts
- Assist the team with any audit requests raised from the Legal Entity Controllership team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft tools
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting, problem solving, process improvement, and communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
- Experience in Software or SaaS accounting is desirable.
- Be organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines.
- Solid US GAAP and IFRS accounting knowledge preferrable
- Fluent English, other language skills desirable
