Sales Analyst

Role Overview:

Support the Commercial and Operations Teams in leveraging and interpreting local retail and consumer data. Provide actionable insights, consistent reporting, and tools to enhance decision-making processes and maximize ROI.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure consistent local data collection from retailers per ANZ guidelines
  • Provide ad-hoc local analysis and insights to support the Commercial and Operations teams in identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Deliver timely reports aligned with local deadlines
  • Assist Commercial Managers with data access and reporting for decision-making and ROI analysis
  • Assist Business Analyst with data access and reporting
  • Monitor and evaluate sales KPIs and metrics to ensure achievement of sales targets
  • Collaborate with operations on stock management to optimize inventory levels and product availability
  • Support ROI analysis of Co-Op investments and other commercial activities

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field
  • Proven experience in category management or commercial analysis within retail or consumer goods
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex insights to stake holders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results through actionable insights
  • Familiarity with retail operations, consumer behavior, and market trends
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel: Demonstrated expertise in using advanced Excel functions including: Index Match, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets efficiently
