A Bit About Us

At Trek, we're on a mission to change the world by getting more people on bikes. As the leading global manufacturer, distributor, retailer, and wholesaler of cycling products, we tackle real-world problems—like urban congestion, pollution, obesity, and mental health—through the power of cycling.

We’re a family-owned, values-driven company that’s committed to professional development, building the best teams, and having fun while we do it. We care deeply about our people, our products, and the communities we serve.

Why Trek?

We offer more than just a job — we offer a career where you’re valued, supported, and given endless opportunities to grow.

  • Competitive Pay and Bonus Opportunities

  • Supportive, Team-Driven Culture

  • Ongoing Training and Career Development

  • Wellness and Mental Health Focus

  • Exclusive Staff Discounts

About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you are responsible for delivering amazing hospitality and driving a great customer experience—while supporting daily operations and hitting individual goals.

Sales & Hospitality

  • Use our Guide Sales Process to connect customers with the right bikes, gear, and services.

  • Develop your sales and customer service skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.

  • Utitlize Lead Lists to stay engaged with customers and drive sales.

  • Participate in daily huddles and debriefs to stay aligned with the team.

  • Make customer-focused decisions and do the right thing to create positive experiences.

  • Respond to phone calls and store emails with professionalism and helpfulness.

  • Assist with UBG/Warranty cases—support customers, document exchanges, and coordinate with the Inventory DRI.

Product Knowledge

  • Learn about Trek bikes, components, apparel, and technology.

  • Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing required learning modules and continuing education.

Store Operations

  • Help with store opening/closing, operate Ascend POS, and complete end-of-day cash-up.

  • Execute responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager.

  • Wear the Trek uniform and present yourself to Trek’s professional standard.

When Not with Customers, You’ll Help:

  • Complete the Daily Task List.

  • Maintain product displays and merchandising in line with Visual Merchandising Directives (product placement, price auditing, restocking).

  • Perform weekly Cycle Counts for inventory accuracy.

  • Assemble or pre-assemble new bikes and assist in preparing customer bikes for service.

  • Keep the showroom and back-of-house clean, organized, and efficient.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be a bike expert—what matters most is your energy, curiosity, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

You bring:

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A desire to grow through feedback and learning

  • Problem-solving skills and customer-first thinking

  • Attention to detail and reliability
