About the Role

We’re seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive sustainable revenue growth and strengthen customer loyalty across key markets. You’ll lead sales and marketing strategy execution, deliver against targets, and expand market reach through effective promotion of our products and services.

This role plays a key part in building brand awareness, reinforcing brand loyalty, and enhancing the organisation’s reputation, requiring a strategic mindset and strong stakeholder engagement to support long‑term growth.

Your key duties will include:

  1. Lead the development and execution of national sales, partnership, and go‑to‑market strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer loyalty across Australia.
  2. Identify, qualify, and close new business and partnership opportunities, leading commercial negotiations including pricing, deal structures, contracts, renewals, and cross‑sell opportunities.
  3. Own sales performance outcomes, including revenue forecasting, pipeline development, opportunity sizing, market research, competitor analysis, and performance reporting. 
  4. Drive brand growth and reputation by promoting products and services, strengthening brand loyalty, representing the organisation at industry events, and engaging with regulators, gaming bodies, and ecosystem partners to support compliant expansion.
  5. Collaborate closely with product, delivery, and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned market execution, scalable commercial playbooks, and effective integration planning.

Requirements

Essential

·       10+ years in sales, business development, or commercial leadership in payments, fintech, or gaming technology.

·       Proven track record of closing complex multi‑party commercial deals.

·       Experience working with gaming venues, regulators, payment providers, or gaming system vendors.

·       Understanding of AU regulatory and compliance frameworks (AML/KYC, PCI DSS, OAIC privacy, state gaming rules).

·       Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

·       Experience with CRM and sales reporting systems.

Preferred

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or business leadership certifications preferred.
