Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing Sales Development Representative to spearhead growth across the Australian and Singaporean markets. In this role, you will act as the frontline ambassador for a premier sales consultancy, representing a world-class partner that specializes in financial technology implementation and strategic consultancy. You will be responsible for engaging C-suite finance leaders, navigating complex organizational structures, and building the pipeline that fuels international expansion. This is a high-visibility role offering the chance to work with leading global software brands and a proven sales methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 50-80 high-quality outbound calls per day to senior finance leadership (CFOs, Finance Directors, VPs of Finance).
  • Qualify leads to strict "Magic35" standards to ensure high-value opportunities enter the pipeline.
  • Book discovery calls and meetings for the consultant team to drive the adoption of financial technology and consultancy services.
  • Research and target prospects within diverse sectors including FinTech, SaaS, Manufacturing, and Insurance.
  • Generate and manage leads for key industry events within the APAC region.
  • Utilize Salesloft and Salesforce to manage outreach, data integrity, and lead tracking.
  • Deliver consistent client management services, ensuring a seamless handoff between initial contact and the discovery phase.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional sales experience with a proven track record in outbound prospecting.
  • Extensive experience selling directly to Finance leadership (CFOs, Finance Directors, or Heads of Financial Transformation).
  • Ability to work Australian business hours (any Australian timezone variant) while being based in the APAC region or South Africa.
  • Availability to commit to an initial two-week training period operating on UK Western European Time.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong preference for an Australian accent to suit the target market.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume activity (calls/emails) while maintaining high conversion quality.
  • Professional maturity and the ability to influence senior decision-makers via phone and digital channels.
Nice-to-Haves
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Previous experience selling consultancy services or professional services.
  • Exposure to or experience selling financial technologies such as CCH Tagetik, Workiva, Sage Intacct, FloQast, Pigment, NetSuite, or Kyriba.
  • Proven experience generating leads specifically for industry events.
  • A deep understanding of the Australian business culture and market landscape.
