What the role is all about  

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through lead generation and qualification. The SDR role supports our existing account directors with prospecting, appointment setting and sales enablement activities.

Being the first point of contact for prospective customers you will play a crucial role in the sales process, ensuring leads are accurately qualified.

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels such as email, phone calls and social media to target potential clients in the real estate industry, specifically real estate agents and principals in Australia.
  • Inbound prospecting - nurture and qualify leads who have shown interest in Realtair products and have already engaged with Realtair through its marketing channels.
  • Research and gather information about leads, their companies and relevant industry trends to provide insights and context for sales conversations.
  • Developing and managing a sales pipeline through all stages of the sales process: including identifying new business opportunities to sign new customers; establishing and managing relationships with key customer contacts and/or executive management; and driving strategic upsells.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings and demos between account executives and prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve lead generation strategies, sales collateral and sales processes.
  • Be the face of Realtair, as you will be the first point of contact to engage our potential customers.
  • Become an expert on our brand, business and products
  • Conduct sophisticated, thoughtful discovery sessions with prospects, to identify and understand their business pains and needs.
  • Take initiative to help Marketing convert their efforts into leads for the Sales Team.

Who we’re looking for 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or inside sales role, preferably in a SaaS company selling to the real estate industry in Australia.
  • Tech savvy with experience using CRM systems, Sales and Customer Success platforms along with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and targets.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Experience in a similar SDR or BDM role and/or as a residential sales agent.
