Snowflake is seeking motivated people with a passion for technology and the drive to build an incredible career in SaaS sales. The Sales Development team plays a critical role in the growth of our organization. Our team works in collaboration with sales and marketing  nurturing leads and setting qualified discovery calls that ultimately lead to new business and new revenue. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU GET TO: 

  • Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision makers
  • Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns
  • Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
  • Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross functional teams 
  • Work in a fast-pace environment, take  the initiative to get stuff done, try new things  and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

  • A passion for technology and software sales, 1-2 years of customer facing experience is preferred 
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
  • A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
  • The ability to thrive in a company environment of rapid change; reacting to management initiatives; taking the "customer view"; adopting customer corporate ‘perspective’; accepting change to business/personal situations
  • Resourcefulness and results driven operating style
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
