Purpose of your Role

OFX is seeking a driven, results-oriented team player to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for hunting and qualifying leads to build sales opportunities for the team. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients and will effectively articulate OFX’s value proposition and discuss how OFX’s products and solutions provide an opportunity for better business money management, financial operations and spend control. This role is ideal for a new graduate, or a candidate new in their career, who has a strong business mindset and is looking to start or expand their career in Sales.

Sales Development Representatives who consistently exceed their targets will have the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting career growth prospects within our dynamic and growing organization.

What you do

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound outreach, growing our top of sales funnel
  • Perform additional research on potential prospects that are provided by sales operations
  • High-volume outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn Navigator
  • Present and discuss OFX products and solutions, quickly identifying value for prospective client
  • Perform initial qualification, scheduling meetings for Business Development Managers
  • Ensure complete and accurate client relationship records within Salesforce
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of OFX products and services
  • Meet and exceed targets for identifying potential viable prospects

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Experience: Prior experience with customer facing and/or sales roles
  • Education: Postsecondary Degree or Diploma in related field or equivalent experience
  • Self-Motivated & Hard Working: Dedicated to making 50+ outbound calls daily, maintaining motivation and persistence. Competitive mindset and driven to succeed. 
  • Collaborative: Team player and highly adaptable with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized & Efficient: Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency
  • Detail-orientated: Ability to maintain accurate forecasting and records
  • Communication & Professionalism: Confident, articulate, professional communicator (verbal and written) with strong listening skills and the ability to establish relationships quickly
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and work towards solutions
