We now have a great opportunity for a Sales Development Representative.
Whilst this role is reporting into our Marketing team, you will work closely with our sales teams.
As the Sales Development Representative, you will be personally accountable with a focus on a range of responsibilities including partner engagement on behalf of the sales teams, generating and qualifying leads to build a robust sales pipeline. The role engages with potential partners and manages event attendance as well as follow up after events to provide a personalized Tech Data approach to generating more business.

Event Outreach & Partner Engagement
Contact via phone and other electronic means on behalf of the sales teams to make contact with existing partners to communicate upcoming events, meetings and other Tech Data programs through the provision of a more personalised approach.
Actively follows up with partners via phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure event attendance.
Lead Qualification, Pipeline Support & New Partner Outreach
Engage with leads from the third-party B2B platform, qualifying end users before passing them to Vendor Managers.
End User campaign follow ups post telemarketing campaigns.
Use structured qualification frameworks to assess lead quality.
Process & Administrative Support
Work closely with the marketing team to personalise outreach efforts for each campaign.
Provide weekly reports on event registration rates, outreach success, and pipeline updates.
Identify gaps in partner engagement and suggest improvements to drive higher participation.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be successful for his role, you will need the following:
Minimum High School certificate.
Preference for Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Work experience within a sales based organisation would be well regarded.
Professional communication skills (both verbal and written).
Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and customer service orientation with the ability to work autonomously.
Willingness to learn esp to undertake training on vendor products and services
Digital and use of AI to assist with outreach would be well regarded.
