The Role
Our SDRs have an incredible opportunity to evangelize ThoughtSpot and deliver qualified opportunities to the sales team. This role offers a strong foundation in software sales, while enabling you to make a direct impact on pipeline creation and revenue generation.

As the first point of contact for many potential ThoughtSpot customers, the ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission to make the world more fact-driven and highly motivated by achieving sales goals. SDRs work cross-functionally with ThoughtSpot’s marketing and sales teams in alignment with our Go-To-Market strategy. Join us and help drive our growth and expansion!

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and pursue outbound leads to generate qualified meetings for Sales Leaders

  • Research Fortune-level companies to identify current and future BI/Analytics trends and initiatives

  • Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, articulating the value of ThoughtSpot to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Partner with field sales and marketing teams to convert leads into qualified meetings

  • Design and execute creative sales and marketing outreach campaigns

  • Use LinkedIn for social selling, research, and lead generation

  • Manage, organize, and update contact records and activities in Salesforce

  • Consistently meet deadlines and achieve or exceed weekly/monthly targets
     

What You Bring:

  • Strong communication skills paired with solid business acumen

  • A professional, creative, and dynamic presence

  • Proven success in a comparable SDR or outbound sales role

  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment (startup mindset)

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to help build a world-class company

  • Willingness to collaborate closely with both marketing and sales teams

  • Beneficial: experience with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Analytics

  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on understanding buyer needs

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hybrid Work at ThoughtSpot

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in Australia.

Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and peer learning with the flexibility needed by individuals and teams.
