What the role is all about

As the Director of Sales, you will be the founding senior sales leader and will launch and scale our presence in the Australian market. This role is designed for a player-coach: you’ll own a personal target while building and leading a high-performing team. With an annual revenue target (after year one), you’ll be responsible for both closing key business directly with top Real Estate Agencies, Real Estate Media and Photography Companies and growing a team of professionals who can scale our success.

You’ll act as the face of the brand in the market, influencing industry conversations and forging strategic partnerships with key brands, agents, and influencers that accelerate growth.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build the initial sales team and establish a scaleable hiring framework to expand the team as the business scales.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a growing team account executives and sales development professionals.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Establish sales enablement practices and training resources tailored to the Australian market. Create a sales playbook and onboarding programs for service providers and separately for Agents and Agencies to ensure rapid ramp-up, consistent execution and customer success.

Targets & Sales Execution

  • Carry and deliver against an annual target + a personal target while leading a team to exceed a strong growth plan.
  • In addition to leadership duties, personally own and close high-value opportunities with enterprise brokerages, multi-office agencies, top agent teams, and key Real Estate Photography and Media companies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, pricing, MSA’s, and customer programs to exceed revenue targets across key verticals

Market Engagement & Brand Building

  • Represent iGUIDE on stage and at industry events, positioning the brand as a category leader.
  • Build relationships with C-level and senior executives at REA Group and other key partners.
  • Act as the voice of the Australian market internally, sharing insights with product, marketing, and global leadership.

Sales Operations & Strategy

  • Set and monitor sales activity targets, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Experience, and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has extensive experience in B2B sales leadership and who will thrive in a growth role within a scaling business.

  • Success selling to enterprise and mid-market customers with an adept ability to negotiate commercial terms and provide executive influence.
  • Skilled communicator and confident public speaker; comfortable representing a brand on stage and with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to scale sales teams and exceed multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
  • Data-driven operator with strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems.
  • Extensive experience in prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong track record of meeting individual and team-based sales targets.
  • Significant experience in B2B sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Track record as both an individual and sales leader (player-coach model).
  • Experience scaling revenue in high-growth or scale-up environments.
  • Background in Proptech, SaaS, real estate, construction, or insurance technology strongly preferred.
  • Experience working on enterprise accounts and building/leveraging strategic partnerships
  • Skilled at complex deal cycles: contract negotiations, multi-stakeholder selling, and long-cycle enterprise opportunities.
  • Brings a data-driven approach to performance management - comfortable with pipeline metrics, forecasting, and dashboards.
  • Experience creating sales playbooks, training resources, and enablement tools to build repeatability.
  • Known for developing talent and building high-performance, motivated teams.
  • Strong awareness of market trends in real estate and adjacent sectors.
  • Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys building and scaling businesses
  • Experience presenting and reporting to C-Suite leaders
