About the role:
We’re on a path to a $1bn in ARR by 2029 globally. To fuel our grow that continues to be > 30% annually, we’re hiring an experience B2B SaaS Commercial Sales leader. The Sales Director will drive growth across our commercial customer patch. Your teams will focus on identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, pitching our award-winning software solutions, and managing complex sales cycles.
We’re not just looking for any Sales leader, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record and a keen desire to build a business that’s going to 3 x in the next 4 years. You’ll be passionate about technology and want o make a significant impact on shaping the future of AvePoint across ANZ.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Drive a consultative sales approach, managing complex sales cycles
- Strategise and execute sales plans to ensure strong business growth, pipeline development, and successful deal closures
- Develop and expand customer relationships
- Lead sales meetings, client visits, and events (both remote and on-site) to enhance customer engagement

- Pipeline Development – Building and maintaining a robust, high-quality sales pipeline
- Team Performance & Development – Driving engagement, retention, and growth within your team through coaching and performance management.
What you bring to the team:
As a driven and strategic leader, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about growing business while developing and empowering your team. You are highly adaptable, goal-oriented, and motivated by both individual and team success.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B software/SaaS sales, including at least 5 years in a leadership role (Sales Manager, Director, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of success in managing sales teams and delivering against revenue goals.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire, develop, and drive performance within your team.
- Strong ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to prioritise, manage challenges, and execute in a dynamic environment.
