Sales Engineers are subject matter experts that position and demonstrate the value of our products, deliver technical advice throughout the sales process, and contribute to winning new business alongside our salespeople. They seek to understand how our solutions can address challenges faced by customers and their end users, and tailor demonstrations to showcase how we address their business needs and drive outcomes. Sales Engineers are also uniquely positioned to provide insights back to the business on market trends and go-to-market opportunities which help inform our product strategy, positioning, and big picture direction. Travel is required to attend meetings and or conferences.
A Day in the Life
Validate customer pain points and needs by delivering both in person and virtual to-the-point, specific product demonstrations
Translate tech-speak into value-based discussions for C-Suite, influencers, and end user advocates
Use available tools and resources to deliver tailored demo experiences for our customers
Facilitate and support evaluations/Proof of Concepts to ensure a successful outcome
Develop a collection of customer stories from previous experiences and historical stories from the team
Ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales process to post-sale delivery
Work with different areas of the business daily to deepen their knowledge of the market, our products, and what matters most to our customers
Role Progression
Within 1 Month, You Will:
Complete New Hire Onboarding
Participate in instructor-led Sales Bootcamp
Learn our products and become certified on how to demonstrate their value
Shadow customer meetings
Within 3 months, you will:
Deliver and lead customer presentations
Continue to build and expand relationships throughout the company
Meet with customers in person
Within 6 months, you will:
Become a trusted advisor and SME, and present at customer, partner, and user forums
Provide guidance to customers on how to maximize the value our solutions for their business
Lead strategic discussions to help align our solutions to our customers’ business needs
About You
You are energized by navigating complex organizations and decision-making processes
You can earn credibility as a trusted advisor with C-suite and senior leaders within large global organizations
You have a strong desire to learn about and evangelize technology solutions to challenging business problems
You are keen on organization, collaboration, and getting things done
Comfortable with a quickly changing environment
Thrive on open transparency, communication, and collaboration internally and externally
Competency with Salesforce, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
Based in Greater Sydney or Singapore preferred
