The Sales Leader - ANZ is a key leadership role that will assist Tines to accelerate its ANZ expansion, you will report directly to our CRO. We are seeking a sales leader who will play a pivotal role in the ANZ region by executing on our ANZ GTM strategy; recruiting new hires while mentoring, coaching and building from the ground up a high performing sales team of ANZ account executives; and help to land net new customers for Tines and expanding existing customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop a thriving, diverse sales team who are trusted advisors to Tines new and existing ANZ customers
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment with a culture of coaching and feedback
  • Win new clients and logos and expanding existing customers with the support of partnership, marketing, sales engineering & business development
  • Development of a high performing diverse ANZ Account Executive team, including recruiting, hiring and coaching
  • Advise and guide the ANZ Account Executive team to manage and close customer deals that create business value and ROI for Tines customers
  • Creating, guiding and managing Tines business campaigns with marketing and business development to generate new customer opportunities
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior leadership
  • Leverage and plan the various resources at your disposal (customer success, sales engineering, partnerships, marketing, lead generation ) to identify and win new business for Tines
  • Create and develop an Account Executive talent pool for the wider sales organization
  • Lead complex technical customer engagements when necessary to assist with winning business against competition

What you bring with you:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing, coaching, developing and mentoring SaaS sales teams
  • Sales Leadership: Proven experience managing, coaching, developing and mentoring SaaS sales / Account Executive teams
  • Results Orientated: Proven success consistently performing against quotas and metrics. A Hunter / builder mentality with a strong drive for results and over-achievement
  • Better Together: Well-versed in indirect selling including partnering with channel and technology alliance partners
  • Operational Rigor: An operational lens that will ensure that planning and strategy are central to the team’s success
  • Growth Mindset: See challenges, setbacks and losses as opportunities for growth, progression and learning
  • Technical Product Sales: Tines sells to technical stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, Heads of IT, Heads of DevOps/Infrastructure and CTOs. Has been a previous individual contributor selling a technical SaaS solution and / or leading a team that sells to technical stakeholders rather than functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborative: Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment.
  • Empathetic: Strong engagement and relationship building skills.
  • Communication: Ability to cleanly, succinctly and concisely net out explain ideas, thoughts and concepts
  • Resourceful: Experience as a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues. Understanding how to use the resources at your disposal to optimum effect ( Sales Development ,Marketing, Legal, Customer Success)
  • Curiosity: Open minded approach to situations, with a genuine interest to understand or know more.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset:  Having worked at a smaller, growth SaaS company is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn: Excited to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • ANZ region - This role operates within a focused sales leadership capacity, however, the individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the ANZ region acting as the go-to regional representative for Tines.
