The role of Sales Manager, Australia

The Sales Manager, Australia will play a critical role in supporting the Australian entity, driving strategic growth and operational excellence. 

  • Sales targets & revenue growth: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and work closely with team members to collectively reach or surpass team sales objectives. Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximise revenue from existing and new clients. 
  • Team Leadership and culture development: Lead and support Sales Associates by providing mentorship, clear guidance, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance. Foster a positive and collaborative environment that embodies ZC's culture, motivating the team to achieve their best. 
  • Relationship management: Develop, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with your portfolio clients to encourage long-term engagement, brand loyalty, and client satisfaction. Work closely with Relationship Management to proactively identify and address client needs to deepen relationships and increase retention. 
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: Partner effectively with internal teams, primarily the marketing, product, and operations teams, to ensure sales strategies align with organisational goals and product positioning. Drive a unified approach to improve both client experience and operational efficiency. 
  • Company-wide strategic initiatives: Independently design, implement, and manage initiatives that support ZC’s overarching growth objectives, drive innovation, and contribute to the company’s long-term success. 
  • Sales reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activity, client interactions, and key metrics using the CRM system. Regularly share client insights to facilitate trend identification and to highlight any possible strategic adjustments required for continued growth.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles within financial services, with a focus on digital assets or related fields 
  • Previous experience with traditional financial service clients, family offices, asset managers, banks etc
  • Previous experience of having oversight and responsibility for Sales and Business Development 
  • Good understanding and experience in the Australian Market
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships, particularly with institutional clients. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends into actionable business opportunities. 
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment with a deep cultural understanding. 
  • Demonstrated passion for crypto and digital asset solutions. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues creatively. 
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to custody and digital assets. 
  • Based in Australia
