Join Duracell as Sales Manager II ANZ, based in North Sydney, and take the lead on one of our most strategic customer relationships.

Reporting to the Sales Director ANZ, you'll be the driving force behind the Metcash partnership, turning Duracell's commercial strategy into joint, executable plans that create real value for both sides.

From Joint Business Planning to revenue and profitability delivery, promotional execution, customer marketing and in-store fundamentals, this role puts you at the center of cross-functional customer planning.

We're looking for someone who brings strong FMCG customer leadership, sharp commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills, paired with a shopper-led mindset, disciplined investment management and a genuine passion for collaborating across Sales, Category, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Demand Planning and Product Supply.

Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver revenue, net revenue per cell, value share, profit and sales-fundamentals targets for your customer and distributor portfolio.
  • Develop, sell and implement Joint Business Plans that create shared value for Duracell and the customer.
  • Build collaborative, long-term trading relationships that position Duracell as a preferred supplier.
  • Turn market, customer, shopper and competitive insight into clear, actionable commercial moves.
  • Manage customer plans within budget, always with a sharp eye on ROI.
  • Take the lead on the Metcash relationship, including business reviews, range reviews, presentations and negotiations.
  • Execute and fine-tune promotional and pricing plans based on real performance data.
  • Uncover joint value drivers through customer and shopper insight to shape win-win plans.
  • Own the customer marketing plan and continuously sharpen its impact and return.
  • Champion flawless in-store execution across every relevant channel and store.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Category to bring initiatives to life and exceed distribution goals.
  • Keep Operations aligned with clear, timely customer priorities.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning and Product Supply to sharpen forecast accuracy.
  • Stay ahead of competitor moves and market trends, sharing insights that matter across the business.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in FMCG sales, national account management or a similarly customer-facing commercial role.
  • Solid grounding in the Australian FMCG trade, with hands-on experience working with retail buyers. Grocery experience is a strong plus.
  • A track record you're proud of, hitting sales and profit targets and spotting growth opportunities.
  • Real experience building Joint Business Plans, leading negotiations and managing promotional investment with discipline.
  • Strong commercial and analytical instincts, turning data into action.
  • Comfortable working across functions, especially with Category, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Demand Planning and Product Supply.
  • Confident communicator, presenter and negotiator, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, proactive and self-directed, with an eye for detail.
  • Fluent English and full-time working rights in Australia.
