The role

Looking for paid work alongside your studies that builds skills for your future career? As a Sales Representative with Lyka, you’ll bring our brand to life at shopping centre kiosks, expos and community events across Sydney. You’ll connect with pet parents face-to-face, explain the benefits of Lyka’s fresh food and turn great conversations into new subscriptions.

What you’ll do:

• Be the face of Lyka at retail sites and events, engaging customers directly and confidently
• Deliver a compelling pitch on Lyka's product and sign customers up on the spot
• Achieve daily and weekly sales targets
• Represent Lyka's brand and values in every customer interaction
• Set up and pack down your site/stand each shift

What we’re looking for:

• Strong people skills and the confidence to strike up a conversation with strangers
• Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel to retail sites and events across greater Sydney
• Availability for regular full-day shifts alongside your study timetable
• No sales experience required - just the right attitude
• Must love pets!

The interview process

• In-person group interview in our Sydney office

The interview process typically takes 1–2 weeks

• Base pay + uncapped commission: Earn $30.50 per hour, with unlimited commission on top to reward your sales results
• Regular part-time hours: Predictable weekly shifts during semester, agreed around your availability, with the opportunity to work more hours over the summer break
• Build valuable skills: Develop your sales, customer service and communication skills, from thinking on your feet to handling objections and building rapport
• Fast-growing start-up: Get first-hand experience of how a growing business operates
• Career pathways: Potential to progress into more senior sales roles or explore opportunities across the business
