The Role

Sales Representative – Foot & Ankle | Sydney

This is a rare opportunity to join Stryker’s Foot & Ankle business in Sydney, supporting a comprehensive orthopaedic portfolio designed to assist surgeons across trauma, reconstruction and corrective procedures. Whether you are earlier in your commercial career and looking to learn, or an experienced sales professional ready to take greater ownership, this role offers the scope to grow, contribute and succeed within a high‑performance team.

If you thrive on positive competition, value strong coaching, and want to build or continue a career in medical devices, this role offers the platform to do it.

Why this role stands out:

High‑performance environment:
Join a culture renowned for backing strengths and rewarding outcomes. Stryker is an environment built for individuals who want to compete, learn, and win as a team.

Category‑defining portfolio:
Support Stryker’s Foot & Ankle portfolio — a broad, innovative range of plates, screws and implants engineered to support surgical precision and improve patient mobility.

Flexibility of scope:
The responsibilities of this role can adapt depending on experience, offering development and exposure for junior candidates, while providing autonomy and territory ownership opportunities for more experienced professionals.

Genuine impact:
Equip orthopaedic surgeons with implants and solutions that restore movement, support recovery, and improve patient outcomes.

Strong development platform:
Be part of a highly visible orthopaedics business with clear pathways for growth, supported by structured training, coaching and an experienced leadership team.

What you’ll do

Support and grow the business:
Work closely with Territory Managers and cross‑functional partners to drive revenue, share and portfolio mix through effective field activity and customer engagement.

Own the room (and the theatre):
Build credibility with surgeons, executives and nursing teams; provide in‑theatre support and product expertise that elevates the surgical experience.

Manage relationships:
Develop and maintain strong partnerships across public and private hospitals in Sydney, with your level of responsibility tailored to experience.

Collaborate internally:
Partner with Clinical, Marketing, Service and adjacent Stryker divisions to deliver seamless customer outcomes.

Apply commercial thinking:
Contribute to account planning, opportunity identification and tailored solutions that create value for customers and support sustainable growth.

What you’ll bring

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in sales or customer‑facing roles, with a demonstrated desire to perform and grow
  • Commercial curiosity and the ability to understand what drives value for customers
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders
  • A learning mindset, resilience and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment

Experience that’s helpful, but not essential:

  • Exposure to Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharma, Scientific or other complex selling environments
  • Familiarity with Australia’s public and/or private hospital systems
  • Experience supporting technical products in a live or customer‑critical setting
What we offer

Performance‑led rewards:
A competitive remuneration package with meaningful variable upside, tailored to experience and performance.

Elite products & pipeline:
Access to a market‑leading Foot & Ankle portfolio backed by ongoing innovation and investment.

Career growth:
A clear development pathway supported by structured onboarding, ongoing coaching and opportunities to progress within Stryker.

Wellbeing & perks:
Paid parental leave, wellbeing and volunteer days, learning support and the backing of a global leader making healthcare better.

If you’re ready to take the next step — whether that’s building or accelerating your career — apply today.
