As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sales growth of industrial and technical gases by developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver our range of products and maximise the impact to the efficiency and effectivity of the customers processes.
The role will be a combination of outbound sales, finding and developing opportunities for Air Liquide to provide its products and services and account management - ensuring strong partnerships with our existing customers. A fundamental part of the position of Sales Representative is to build strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
We are in search of a Sales Representative to support our expanding business in Food & Pharmaceutical in Victoria.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
  • Develop relationships with prospects and customers to grow

  • Coordinate customer training when necessary

  • Probe and resolve customer issues on all levels, provide technical and practical assistance where necessary

  • Maintain customer portfolios

  • Develop relationships at both a business and a technical level within customer and industry organisation

  • Ensure all customers have a current standard contract

  • Travel in the assigned territory, visiting prospective and existing customers

  • Manage contract compliance

  • Participate in other work and projects as required from time to time

  • Gather market information to support in decision making

  • Comply to the health and safety regulations and initiatives

Are you a MATCH?
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (business or related discipline) is preferred

  • Proven ability to close sales and effective negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to identify new customers and drive revenue growth

  • Collaborative and ability to operate within a multi-line reporting framework

  • High-level interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Over three years experience in business development and account management 

  • Computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

  • Experience in Google Suites (advantageous)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively

  • Previous experience with use of CRM

  • Innovative thinking and able to influence leadership

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments

  • Can-do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of change

  • Valid permanent AU working rights is required
