Position Summary

This is an exciting, position for a senior salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team! The role specializes in leading and structuring sales of data solutions across the financial sector. We target a wide range of personas who require data, analytics, and infrastructure for their operations.

As a "hunter" in pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will join a team to act alongside Account Managers focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for Data & Feeds Solutions in the given territory, to both existing and new customers.

This role is exclusively about gross sales, and involves working in close partnership with account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth. Extensive training and support is provided.

The business line addresses the needs of our sell side customer base, and cover personas from low latency teams, sales and trading desk, quant and research teams and AI projects. We sit at the nexus point of financial services, data and technology, so the successful candidate will be able to speak to trends across all three themes.

The product suite includes core market data services such as our real time data network, our data distribution platform, and the multiple real time pricing content sets that this infrastructure carries.

It also covers equities fundamentals and estimates content, delivered typically to quant and research teams, and also requires us to sell filings data and machine-readable news from Reuters News, both of which are in heavy demand from AI models within large banks.

Role Responsibilities

  • Cover the given market and segment market for data & feeds solutions

  • Creatively structure, hunt and close deals

  • Develop the sales strategy within assigned territory / account base

  • Build long term relationships with professionals across various targeted industries

  • Deliver customer demonstrations on our data science related product offerings

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Deep understanding of financial markets and their market data requirements

  • While product knowledge is a plus, enthusiasm and solid selling skills are a far more important

  • Strong sales closer!

  • Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)

  • Experience driving sales strategies

  • 5+ years of industry, sales or market experience

  • Consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment
