We are hiring immediately for Sales Specialist role that will help us to power progress for our customers
 

Role description:

Aggreko are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Sales team in Sydney, NSW.
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this role will be a key part of our business as you’ll be responsible for continuing to strengthen our existing client base while looking for new business opportunities, in suppling modular power and energy service solutions in the Building, Construction, Electrical and Manufacturing Sectors.

You will work alongside an outstanding technical and operations team that will assist and advise on the technical solutions for your clients. This team manages the technical application so you can purely drive the sales aspect of this role. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish and manage existing and new major key account business opportunities within the region – using CRM

  • Manage and grow revenue in key accounts, by becoming an integral part of the key accounts business

  • Deliver key presentations for major opportunities to existing and potential Aggreko customers

  • Focus on transactional business customers and grow the customer base and their share of wallet

  • Ensure all information for administrative tasks are completed to enable the customer transaction to occur

  • Maintain market awareness for opportunities, major projects, market trends, new products and competitor activity

  • Participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings and periodic strategy meetings in conjunction with Area Sales Manager

What we’re looking for

  • Proven track record in Account Management / Sales managing a mix of small, medium and large accounts

  • Experience in B2B sales related to industrial, construction, building or hire (products, tools, equipment etc)

  • Self-motivated / driven and the ability to work autonomously and think on your feet

  • Exceptional communication / presentation skills with a strong customer focus and understanding of the sales process

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Work within a local cohesive team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

  • Experience in successfully delivering on weekly, monthly and yearly KPI’s

  • Proficient user of CRM

  • No electrical or generator experience/knowledge required 

  • Possession of a current and valid driving license
