As the only integrated experience consultancy in the world, with a heritage in data science and business performance, Merkle delivers holistic, end-to-end experiences that drive growth, engagement, and loyalty. Merkle's expertise has earned recognition as a "Leader" by top industry analyst firms, in categories such as digital transformation and commerce, experience design, engineering and technology integration, digital marketing, data science, CRM and loyalty, and customer data management. With more than 16,000 employees, Merkle operates in 30+ countries throughout the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Merkle is proud to be Salesforce #1 Salesforce global agency partner, having been voted partner of the year 5 times in our recent history. As a summit partner, we’ve implemented more than 2,000 solutions across all clouds. We have over 1,500 professionals worldwide and have over 8,500 certifications across the Salesforce product suite.

Merkle Australia is currently reshaping its Salesforce capabilities around agentic experiences, helping brands lead at the intersection of technology, intelligence and human connection. The move marks a pivotal step for the Merkle business in its mission to help Australian brands stay at the forefront of consumer engagement. The new capability bridges Salesforce's powerful ecosystem with Merkle's deep heritage in data, CX and content - bringing to life connected, intelligent brand experiences that anticipate needs and deepen loyalty.
As we relaunch our Salesforce practice in Australia, we’re seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant who’s ready to go beyond the typical and make a lasting impact. You’ll be part of a small but ambitious team within one of the world’s top digital agencies, delivering standout Salesforce solutions that fuse creativity, CX thinking, and emerging technologies like AI and data.

This is your chance to help grow our new Salesforce identity while enjoying the support, flexibility, and scale of a global network.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the functional lead or co-lead on Salesforce engagements, collaborating closely with clients to uncover needs and shape solutions across Sales, Service, Experience or other clouds.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear, user-centric Salesforce solutions.
  • Participate in discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, creatives, developers and strategists to design cohesive end-to-end experiences.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives—including knowledge sharing, capability uplift, and the shaping of Agentforce as our emerging Salesforce identity in market.

What You Bring:

  • 2–5+ years’ experience working as a Salesforce Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar client-facing functional role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and configuration capabilities (e.g., flows, page layouts, objects, roles, permissions).
  • Functional experience with at least one Salesforce Cloud (Sales, Service, Experience, or Marketing).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide clients and simplify complexity.
  • Salesforce certifications (Associate or Administrator-level at minimum) are highly desirable.

Why Join Us?

  • Shape something new: Be a key player in rebuilding a Salesforce practice with full leadership support. This isn’t just another role—it’s a platform to make your mark and build something lasting.
  • Agency + Salesforce = Unique: Collaborate with strategists, creatives, and technologists to deliver standout and ground-breaking solutions including new fields such as data and AI.
  • Flexible and empowering: work when and where you're at your best, with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy — plus a $250 contribution toward your home office setup.
  • Unplug, recharge and give something back: Enjoy 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years, 3 company-wide wellness days each year and be part of our annual whole-company volunteering event, One Day for Change.
