This senior role requires strong functional expertise across IBP modules, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for enabling organisations to optimise their planning performance.
Your tasks and responsibilities

- Translate business planning requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions aligned to industry best practice
- Configure and optimise IBP across Demand, Supply, Inventory and S&OP (planning areas, key figures, time profiles and master data)
- Facilitate client workshops to define planning processes, confirm requirements and document functional specifications
- Support solution design for end-to-end planning processes including exception management, alerts and scenario planning
- Collaborate with technical and integration teams to enable data flows between IBP and S/4HANA/ECC or third-party systems
- Support testing activities including unit, SIT and UAT, and manage defect triage and resolution
- Contribute to data validation, reconciliation, cutover planning and readiness activities
- Deliver training, knowledge transfer and supporting documentation for business and IT stakeholders
- Support pre-sales activities where required including discovery sessions, estimates, proposals and solution demonstrations
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations to optimise planning outcomes
Your qualifications and experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business and technical stakeholders
- Multiple SAP IBP projects under your belt, with hands-on delivery experience across one or more modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory or S&OP)
- Experience working in a consulting environment with ownership of end-to-end delivery activities
- Transferable functional skills beyond IBP highly regarded, such as Production, Digital Manufacturing, PP/DS, Procurement, Sales, or Warehousing
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts including forecasting, replenishment, inventory and S&OP cycles
- Experience facilitating workshops and translating business needs into clear functional designs and documentation
- Exposure to IBP integration approaches and working effectively with technical teams (e.g., CPI-DS/SDI or equivalent)
- Strong testing and data validation experience including UAT support and defect management
- Pre-sales experience is desirable (discovery, scoping, estimates, demos), but not essential
- SAP IBP certification or formal training highly regarded
