This is a senior, client‑facing role requiring strong functional expertise in SAP PP, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to lead end‑to‑end delivery across complex projects. You will work closely with clients to optimise production processes, improve planning accuracy, and enable successful S/4HANA transformations.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead full‑cycle SAP PP implementations across multiple industries, from discovery through to go‑live and aftercare
  • Translate manufacturing and production planning business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions
  • Design, configure and optimise SAP PP processes including:
    • Demand Management
    • MRP and capacity planning
    • BOMs, routings and work centres
    • Production orders and execution
  • Facilitate workshops to define manufacturing processes, confirm requirements and document functional specifications
  • Collaborate closely with MM, QM, SD, EWM and IBP consultants to deliver integrated end‑to‑end solutions
  • Support solution design for advanced manufacturing scenarios including make‑to‑order, make‑to‑stock and variant configuration
  • Work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, data migration and integrations (S/4HANA, MES or third‑party systems)
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT and UAT, and manage defect triage and resolution
  • Contribute to cutover planning, data validation and go‑live readiness activities
  • Deliver training, knowledge transfer and high‑quality documentation to business and IT stakeholders
  • Provide post‑go‑live support and continuous improvement recommendations
  • Support pre‑sales activities where required, including discovery workshops, estimates, proposals and solution demonstrations

Your qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience delivering SAP PP solutions, ideally across multiple end‑to‑end implementations
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (ECC experience also valued)
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing and planning processes including MRP, capacity planning and production execution
  • Experience working in a consulting environment, owning delivery outcomes and client relationships

  • Exposure to or experience with adjacent modules such as MM, QM, SD, IBP, PP/DS, Digital Manufacturing or EWM highly regarded
  • Strong testing, data validation and UAT support experience

  • SAP PP certification or formal SAP training highly regarded
  • A growth mindset and passion for working with modern SAP technologies
