Job Description

NCS Australia is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant for a 6-month initial contract. In the world of large-scale enterprise operations, the difference between a functional system and a high-performing one lies in the details of the configuration. We are seeking a practitioner who finds professional satisfaction in the "under-the-hood" mechanics of payroll—someone who understands that elegant system logic is the backbone of organizational compliance and employee trust.

This engagement is specifically designed for a consultant who prefers deep-system work over high-level theory. You will be tasked with translating intricate Australian payroll rules into precise, scalable configurations for major organizations. Whether it is refining complex schemas or optimizing the Payroll Control Centre, your focus will be on ensuring that the payroll engine runs with absolute accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Australian Payroll Legislation: A deep and profound understanding of Australian payroll laws, awards, compliance, and regulations is the most critical requirement.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Configuration: Expert-level, hands-on skill in configuring the SuccessFactors Payroll module, including wage types, schemas, payroll rules, and other detailed components.
  • Payroll Control Centre (PCC): Proven experience in using and optimising the PCC to improve payroll operations.
  • Translating Requirements: The ability to take business requirements from stakeholders and accurately translate them into precise, technical system configurations.
  •  Experience: A proven track record of at least five years working as a hands-on SAP SuccessFactors consultant, with a specific focus on the Payroll module.
  • Troubleshooting: Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving complex, technical payroll issues within the SAP system.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous and detail-oriented approach is essential for ensuring accuracy and reliability in all configurations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot issues at their source.
  • Communication: The ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and solutions to business stakeholders who may not have a technical background.
